10/6 – The Chief’s “Warmer” End of Week Thursday Morning Forecast
The mild weather pattern continues across the area today and for the remainder of the workweek. The area of high pressure has moved to the east of us and winds are predominantly out of the south. This has ushered in more humidity and it will feel slightly warmer than the temperature. Mid-80s are expected for today under a few clouds and a light breeze from the south.
Tomorrow looks to be slightly warmer with mid, and isolated upper-80s in the viewing area. Skies will be partly cloudy with feels-like temperatures around 90. Winds will shift to southwesterly ahead of a cold front. The front is expected to pass through the area overnight Friday into Saturday. A slight chance of a passing shower associated with the cold front cannot be ruled out.
Breezy conditions will be expected Saturday and Sunday. Drier air will move into the region and morning low temperatures will cool into the mid-to-upper 50s. Expect highs in the low-80s with breezy north winds. A slow warm-up will take place early next week.
