10/30 – Trey Tonnessen’s “Sneaky Rain” Wednesday Night Forecast

Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen

The remainder of the forecast is a little more uncertain than the short term. As the northern stream trough over the Great Lakes ejects, the upper ridge nearby will somewhat expand west into the Gulf of Mexico. At the same time, another upper trough will be diving south into the Rockies this weekend. That trough will limit the western expansion of the right, thus limiting its effects on the local weather. With the area on the periphery of that ridge, but the trough still well to the northwest, could kind of go either way in terms of local showers developing or just a mix of sun and clouds. Regardless, we`ll likely at least be fairly warm and muggy.
