10/25 Ryan’s “Weak Front” Monday Night Forecast

A weak front is moving through tonight, the first of two we'll see this week though the second will be much stronger....

A cold front is right on top of us and will bring a sunny, drier day tomorrow, but we’ll see a quick turnaround ahead of a stronger front. Tonight’s will move through with almost no fanfare other than a pop of cloud cover and falling humidity. That’ll bring us a cooler low tonight near 60 degrees with light northerly winds and mostly clear skies. Tomorrow afternoon will be cooler, but still hot with a high near 80 and sunny skies.

As I mentioned earlier expect a quick turnaround though as warm, humid air surges back ahead of a stronger front Wednesday.

This one will have significantly more energy associated with it, and has severe potential. South Mississippi will be under at least a “slight” risk for Wednesday, and that may increase as it closes in. Stay tuned to WXXV News 25 for the latest on this developing situation. Regardless, expect much more seasonal, cooler and drier weather to move in afterwards…this time without the quick turnaround.
