10/23 – Trey Tonnessen’s “Grilling” Wednesday Night Forecast

Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen

The forecast for the rest of the month of October in 3 words, warm and dry. That`s pretty much it. The main driver of those conditions are broad upper level ridge that is/will remain spread across the southern states of the United States and relatively shallow northern stream troughs tracking east this week. Therefore, expect to see lows and highs 5-10 degrees above normal and no rain chances through Friday. All this isn`t to say absolutely zero weather impacts. Several southward indicated areas of light fog this morning. Points north of there will likely have too high of a dewpoint depression to support fog. Model soundings do show what fog does develop should be quite thin with such low moisture outside of right at the surface.
