10/20 – Dry and Mild Tonight with a Chance For A Stray Shower Tuesday

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your extended forecast

Clear skies and comfortable weather will stick around this week after a cold front moves through late on Tuesday and then higher rain chances return for the weekend.

Monday night will be mostly clear and calm, with lows dipping near 60 degrees. Tuesday brings another beautiful day — lots of sunshine and highs in the low 80s, with a light breeze that shifts southwest during the afternoon. A weak front moves through Tuesday night which could allow for a few showers to pop up, and bring slightly cooler air midweek.

Wednesday and Thursday both look sunny and warm, with highs around 80 and lows in the 50s. By Friday, temperatures rebound a bit into the low 80s under mostly sunny skies.

The pattern starts to change over the weekend as moisture builds back in from the Gulf. A few showers and storms could pop up Saturday afternoon and continue off and on through Sunday. It won’t be a washout, but always good to have a back up plan if you’ll be outside. By Monday, we’re back to mostly sunny skies with highs near 80.
