10/16 – Trey’s “Chili and Chilly” Monday Evening Forecast
Sunshine and cooler temperatures settle in
After last week initiated the process of changing conditions, the weekend was both comfortable and calm. Though stability was the story throughout the weekend, a few changes are noticeably present in the weather enterprise across the southeastern U.S. on Monday.
Today (Monday): Morning temperatures were noticeably cooler to start the day. This is all thanks to a cold front that moved through the area late Friday night into early Saturday morning. Luckily for those with early Fall outdoor plans; this front moved through without causing a disturbance due to rain or thunderstorms. Temperature highs on the Gulf Coast will average out in the low to mid 70s today. Mostly Sunny to Clear skies stole the show during the daytime hours.
Tonight: Mostly clear skies through the daytime hours will transition into mostly clear skies into the evening and overnight. As is the case during the day, with less cloud cover and more daytime heating, without a deeper cloud setup present our heat will escape fairly quickly overnight; prompting overnight low temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. Winds will continue from the north tonight between 5-10 MPH.
Tomorrow: Once again, clear skies appear to be likely along the Gulf Coast, as the northerly breeze will still be present tomorrow morning. Winds will gradually shift to the south through the late morning and early afternoon. The potential for precipitation remains minimal Tuesday, near zero.
Fog: More will be abundantly clear regarding the opportunity for fog development between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
As always: A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition! Be nice to each other.
