10/14 – Another Mild and Dry Night Ahead

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your forecast

Clear skies and mild temperatures continue across the area tonight, with lows dipping into the low 60s and a light north breeze. Wednesday looks like another beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and highs near 85. Winds will shift from the northeast to southeast during the day, keeping things comfortable.

The pleasant pattern holds through Thursday and much of Friday, with highs in the mid 80s and mostly sunny skies. By Friday afternoon, southeast winds will pick up a bit, signaling a subtle change ahead.

The weekend starts off warm, but a few isolated showers and storms could develop Saturday afternoon, with a slightly better chance late Saturday night into Sunday. Rain chances won’t be widespread, but keep an umbrella handy if you have outdoor plans.

Behind our next cold front, drier air returns to start next week. Expect sunshine and seasonable temperatures Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the low 80s and overnight lows in the low 60s.
