10/12 Ryan’s “Quite Humid” Tuesday Night Forecast

Feels like summer for the rest of the week with warm, humid conditions building ahead of a weekend front.

We had a taste of fall in late September, but the last several days have felt more like summer. That will continue for the rest of the week too, as nighttime temperatures climb into almost the mid 70s with days pushing the upper 80s. Tonight we’ll only continue that slow climb that began over the weekend though, low climbing to 72 with southerly winds. Wednesday afternoon gains another degree as well, high now up to 86 with steadily climbing humidity.

We will see more cloud cover but it won’t do much to provide any comfort with heat indices pushing 90 degrees.

By the end of the week though relief will move in. A front is slowly forming east of the Rockies, and this will eventually forced through by strong high pressure. Current timing has this happening Friday night/Saturday morning, with rapid improvements on the backside. That means we won’t see much rain since it will largely be overnight, but the weekend is shaping up to be the best one in weeks.
