10/10 – Brantly’s “Clear and Calm” Sunday Night Forecast

Highs Monday afternoon will then be similar to today, in the mid to upper 80s. Overall, enjoy the mostly clear skies and dry weather. A dry airmass underneath high pressure will allow for a continued dry forecast Tuesday and Wednesday night. Lows each night should range in the mid to upper 60s inland and in the upper 60s to lower 70s along the immediate coast and beaches. Highs Tuesday and Wednesday should continue to range a few degrees above normal in the mid to upper 80s over most locations.

A cold front currently looks to push from west to east across our forecast area sometime during the day Saturday. A zone of increased moisture and lift will spread across our region late Friday night into Saturday and will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms to our region during this time. A cooler and drier airmass is currently expected Saturday night into Sunday following the passage of the cold front.

Highs Thursday and Friday should continue to range in the mid to upper 80s across most locations, while overnight lows will mostly be in the mid 60s to around 70 degrees. Slightly cooler temperatures are anticipated on Saturday dependent on the timing of the front. Lows on Saturday night may fall into the 50s to around 60 inland and in the lower to mid 60s along the coast, while highs by Sunday are currently forecast to range in the 70s over most of the region in the cooler post-frontal airmass.
