10/07 Ryan’s “Slightly Drier” Thursday Night Forecast

Slightly drier air has moved in, but it will be short-lived.

Pretty hot today but it didn’t feel too bad thanks to slightly drier air. Only in the short term though. Drier, warmer air from the Southwest is moving in and that will bring highs into the upper 80s/low 90s across South MS for tomorrow and Saturday, but it becomes humid again quickly next week. Still expect it to be on the cooler side tonight with a low near 66 and another round of light fog with our cool, humid conditions. Tomorrow will be even hotter than today, but only by a degree or so, up to 88 in the heat of the day.

Clear skies will remain through the weekend and into next week, so we’ll still see plenty of sun for the rest of Cruisin’ the Coast.

Next week will trend hotter than average, but we’ll have begun a cooling trend. We’ll ride this trend all the way down to 83 degrees by next Thursday, as cloud cover and low afternoon rain chances return. Highs will linger above average, but a front is right on the edge of moving into the area by the end of next week.
