#1 Clemson vs. #2 Alabama in the College Football Playoff Championship

They’ve had a little over a week to prepare. Tonight, we’ll see who the best team in college football is.
The No.1 ranked Clemson Tigers are set to square off against the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide for the College Football Playoff National Championship.
For the Crimson Tide, Nick Saban would win his fifth national championship. Saban would be second only to legend Bear Bryant, who had six. It would be Alabama’s tenth overall.
For the Tigers, it would be their second title and Coach Dabo Swinney’s first. A win tonight would cap off a perfect 15-0 season.
Local Sports Radio host Tommy D said, “It all comes down to Nick Saban and what he’s been able to do since he’s been at Alabama. He’s going for title number four with the Crimson Tide and number five overall. So, that’s the big talk right now. Can he bring home a fourth title in seven years? It’s very interesting, the three winningest coaches in Tigers football history all went, graduated and played football at Alabama. And Dabo was a part of that 1992 championship team when they beat Miami. So, I’m sure it would be a little bittersweet being against his former team but I’m sure he’ll do whatever it takes to get title number one there.”
The game will kickoff at 7:30 from Phoenix, Arizona.
