1/5 – Humidity Rising Ahead of our Next Rain Chance

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your forecast

Fog will continue to be an issue late at night and during the early morning hours through Thursday, with periods of dense fog which could impact travel at times.

Afternoons stay well above average, with highs mainly in the low to mid 70s under partly sunny skies. Rain chances increase late Thursday night and Friday, with showers likely and a few thunderstorms possible before a cold front moves through.

Some of the storms may be strong to severe with heavy rainfall and gusty winds, so we’ll continue to monitor these developments over the next few days.

Behind the front, cooler and breezier conditions arrive for the weekend, with highs dropping into the 60s Saturday and 50s by Sunday and Monday, along with chilly overnight lows in the 30s and 40s.
