Welcome to the last bellows of Summer as Northern Hemisphere Autumn shows up in earnest with much cooler weather expected later this week … after rain and storms accompany a frontal boundary through the area on Tuesday.

By Friday morning, average overnight low temps will be around 60 degrees and some locations (farther north and inland) cooling into the upper-fifties. Daytime highs (under rain-free skies) will be in the lower eighties.
