08/19 – Brantly’s “Hot with Scattered Storms” Thursday Morning Forecast

We have entered a more typical summertime setup that will persist for the foreseeable future. Any lingering showers and thunderstorms this evening will gradually die down, with only an isolated storm or two possible during the overnight hours mainly across the coastal counties. Most forecast models shows a decent uptick in shower and thunderstorm activity mid to late morning Thursday and into Thursday afternoon.

Heading into Thursday night storm should gradually diminish in coverage with just slight rain chances late evening for far inland locations during the overnight hours. We rinse and repeat for Friday with a similar weather setup.

Temperatures will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s for most locations Thursday and Friday, with a few mid 90 readings not out of the question in our favored hot spots over inland locations. Lows will generally be in the middle 70s. Heat indices remain in the 100 to 105 range Thursday and Friday.
