08/03 – Brantly’s “Rain Chances Dropping” Tuesday Evening Forecast
By tonight, most storm activity will be shunted offshore over the marine zones, promoting at best an isolated to scattered coverage across coastal counties and little to no coverage inland. Lows tonight drop into the upper 60s over far interior locations, with lower to middle 70s elsewhere. Wednesday should feature a drier day overall with best convective coverage focused offshore once again. We can’t rule out isolated to scattered shower and thunderstorm coverage, mainly along the coast however.
Less overall storm coverage will lead to slightly warmer temperatures building many areas back to the lower 90s. Even going into Thursday, we stay in a bit of a drier pattern with only isolated shower/storm chances along I-10/12, with better scattered coverage towards the south – generally a typical summertime pattern awaits going towards and beyond mid-week.
