07/26 Ryan’s “Clear & Calm” Monday Night Forecast

Hot days, warm nights, and fewer showers ahead.

After a scorcher of a weekend, the heat and humidity isn’t going anywhere except at night when things calm down. The humidity has remained steady for the last several weeks, and will even rise a few degrees as the weekend rolls around. Tonight will be slightly cooler with a low near 76 and mostly clear skies. Tomorrow continues today’s drier trend despite being a bit hotter, but we won’t remain dry all week.

I expect to see at least a few “impulses” moving around the Southeast a few times this week, occasionally bringing rain chances into the 30-40% range.

These will be the exceptions rather than the rule though, so you’ll need to be aware of your exposure to the high heat in the days ahead. Remember to seek shade whenever possible and drink plenty of water, even outright avoiding the outside between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM, when heating is generally at its peak.
