07/08 Ryan’s “Calm, Drier” Thursday Night Forecast
Looks like we’re in for another calm, but this time drier night ahead. The humidity isn’t going to change any, but we finally saw a less active afternoon and evening in the skies over South MS. Still going to give it about a 20% chance of rain for the early morning hours, but that may be overdoing it slightly. Tomorrow afternoon will bring the rain chances back though.
Expect to see another cloudy afternoon with a 40% chance of showers/t-storms, and a high near 85.
Rain chances will slowly fall through the weekend, but will spike again by the start of the week as a front closes in. This front will bring back our 40% chance of rain for Monday and will linger into Tuesday. By the middle of the week though it some drier mid-level air should keep cloud cover and rain development to a minimum.
