06/24 – Brantly’s “Typical June Pattern” Thursday Forecast

A typical late June forecast for the north central Gulf Coast region will be in the works during the extended period. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible each day for the next week or so and any rain activity should be primarily in the afternoon hours.

High temperatures will generally be in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees inland and in the mid 80s at the beaches through Friday. Low temperatures tonight will continue to be in the lower 70s inland to the lower to mid 70s near the coast.

High pressure will remain centered over the eastern Gulf of Mexico through Friday. A tropical wave is expected to pass through the coastal waters this weekend. High pressure is expected to build back over the coastal waters early next week.
