04/17 Ryan’s “Patchy Fog” Monday Night Forecast
Conditions have lent themselves to patchy fog formation over the last few nights, but the winds were generally just a bit too strong for anything thicker. Tonight remains warm & humid, and winds are finally dropping low enough that locally dense fog will form in generally fog prone areas. This will complicate the morning commute, but won’t last long enough into the day to cause many other issues.
The skies will be gradually clearing through the morning leading to mostly sunny skies tomorrow with a high near 80 on the water, warmer inland. Expect the small chance of isolated showers during the warmest part of the day, but little is expected. Low level moisture continues to increase due to light winds from the SE, so we’ll continue seeing gradual increases in humidity and temperature into Friday, though it will remain dry.
Next “active” weather system looks like it will bring a front through by Sunday morning, but the strength/timing is still up in the air. Will update forecast as more information becomes available.
