03/27 Ryan’s “Rain Clearing” Monday Night Forecast
While we didn’t have much today, the last few hours have seen the rain clearing out of South Mississippi completely. Don’t expect the clouds to go anywhere though, tonight will remain mostly cloudy and warm with an evening low near 69. Winds are too strong right now, but in the hours just before sunrise I’m expecting them to weaken enough to allow patchy fog to develop, though it won’t last long once we begin warming up tomorrow. Tuesday will be warmer, high near 80, with partly sunny skies and light winds from the South. After another round of overnight fog, Wednesday clears even more, and temperatures will remain in the low 80s.
Thursday is the next day that will feature in drastic weather differences. Cloud cover will increase Thursday morning as a frontal system approaches from the West. Showers and thunderstorms are possible, but at this time it seems as though the pressure trough may be weakening and the storms will be on the weaker side. This is still a developing system so we’ve got plenty of time to monitor and adjust the forecast if necessary. After this system moves through, expect ridging to build in on the back side of the front and drier, slightly cooler & more clear weather will move in for the weekend. Everything remains pleasant for a few days, but it looks like storms will move in to start the next work week.
