02/22 Ryan’s “High Humidity” Thursday Night Forecast
Our afternoon skies cleared to at least partly sunny for the moment, but increased cloud cover, humidity, and rain will move back in quickly. A quasi-stationary frontal boundary still lingers just North and Northwest of Mississippi, but a developing frontal system further West will finally push this line through by Sunday morning. Until then, expect mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers for tomorrow and Saturday, but even after the frontal passage on Sunday the boundary stalls and remains over the coast into the beginning of the next work week. So while mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers linger through Monday and into Tuesday, we’ll finally see skies clearing to partly sunny again and some slightly drier air by the week’s end, but it looks like another frontal system will be primed to move in around that time.
