02/19 – Brantly’s “More Rain Coming” Wednesday Afternoon Forecast

Scattered showers are popping up across the Gulf Coast this afternoon as temperatures warm into the mid 70s.

Temperatures will likely stay in the lower to mid 70s along the coast with inland locations, mainly north of I-10, remaining in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.

We’ll be dodging wet weather today and tonight as on and off showers continue. Rain chances are at about 50 percent.

Tomorrow, rain chances rise to nearly 100 percent as heavy showers and a few thunderstorms move in ahead of a cold front. Rain will likely begin as early as Thursday morning, becoming heavy before lunchtime, and eventually clearing out by Thursday evening. Severe weather is not expected.

By Friday, skies will be clear and temperatures will be much cooler. Highs will be in the 50s with overnight lows in the 30s Friday and Saturday.
