DESCRIPTION:After a three year hiatus\, the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art is resurrecting the George Ohr Arts Festival and incorporating two new additions: craft beer and a camper rally. \nThe first ever George E. Ohr Art & Beer Festival will take place on Saturday\, October 6 from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. The festival will offer a diverse array of arts and crafts vendors; craft beer tents; a homebrewers’ competition; a camper rally with vintage campers\, skoolies\, and camper vans; a community car art restoration project; live music; a whacky ceramics-based performance by the Mad Potter of Bay St. Louis Steve Barney; a ceramics throw-down between the coast’s finest potters; and food vendors! \nThe festival will fall during Cruisin’ the Coast\, one of the largest tourism attractions to the Mississippi Gulf Coast\, last year seeing over 8\,000 classic cars register. The museum anticipates a crowd of 2\,000+ attendees and dozens of vintage campers to participate in this year’s festival. \nThe cost of entry to the Ohr Art & Beer Fest is free\, but access to the beer tents will require purchasing an armband: \nGeneral Admission armbands: $25 \n-buyers will receive ten 5 oz. beer pours \nVIP armbands: $50 \n-buyers will receive a commemorative ceramic beer stein \n-five full 16 oz. pours \n*Only 100 VIP armbands will be available for purchase. \nIf you’re the owner of a vintage camper\, camper van\, or skoolie\, OOMA’s grounds will be available for a two night camping post for $75.
