Kate Magandy Holzhauser is a Gulfport resident with more than 30 years in journalism. An Ole Miss grad with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Kate was at the Sun Herald for 28 years, serving as a copy editor, sports editor, city editor and digital editor in her tenure. She was named assistant news director at WXXV in December 2021.
