Amelia Strahan grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi before moving to Hattiesburg in 2008. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she developed a passion for both politics and media. Graduating with a major in Political Science and a minor in Broadcast Journalism, she acquired a strong understanding of the political landscape and the power of effective storytelling. After her time at Southern Miss, she embarked on an exciting journey in the field of news production, working at NBCUniversal and Fox News in New York City. She looks forward to telling the stories of the Mississippi Gulf Coast!
Amelia loves running, listening to audio books, and spending time with her family. She is happily engaged and a deeply dedicated dog mom.
