Andrew Scherer comes to the Gulf Coast from Mandeville, Louisiana. He grew up a diehard sports fan, turning that passion into an interest in television. Andrew graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University where he was a Reporter/Anchor on the award winning Big Game. He also had the opportunity to work on Northshore News while at Southeastern, giving him the ability to expand his storytelling outside of sports. When he's not reporting, Andrew enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his daughter, Mia.
