Cold air advection behind the front will limit warming today with few, if anyone, seeing temps rise above the low 60s this afternoon. Another system will push SE with the main trough over the Great Lakes on Friday night into Saturday. This will reinforce below normal temps and keep the local area dry through this weekend.
The low currently west of Texas will track across that state, moving into LA and MS late this weekend. A little moisture will get drawn up into the local area. Not expecting much more than some light rain at this time. The extended portion of the forecast package will bring dry conditions under northwest to north flow through next Thursday. Temperatures will remain seasonally cooler to colder than normal with lows mainly in the 30s to lower 40s each day and highs generally in the 50s but warming into the 60s by later next week
