The Gulfport Kiwanis Club is having their 64th annual Pancake Day.
This Wednesday, you can enjoy fluffy pancakes to go and support the Gulfport Kiwanis Club for $6. Normally this is a sit-in breakfast, but because of the pandemic, the pancakes will be served to go in a drive-thru line.
They call it Pancake Day for a reason. They’ll be serving from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. so you can enjoy pancakes for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the organization. Pancake Day Chairman Mark-David Howard said, “The funds go into our general account but they all go out into our community. We give donations to various organizations especially local schools. The youth in our community is the main drive as to where these funds go.”
The pancakes will be hot and ready for pickup this Wednesday, December 2nd at the First United Methodist Church.
