A brief, slight cool down is expected to continue throughout the rest of the day in the wake of the weak dry front with highs ranging from the lower 60s over the northwestern portions of the forecast area to the lower 70s across southeastern sections and along the coast.
Behind the front, skies begin to clear as surface ridging begins to become more dominant over the region by Monday afternoon. Clear and dry conditions will last into Monday night, with cooler temperatures expected.
Thanksgiving weekend may not be as weather-free as earlier indicated… We should see a cloudy day with some a few showers overnight heading into Friday. With the approach of an area of low pressure this coming weekend, rain chances will be presented each day that may become elevated Saturday before ending with the next cold front passing through Sunday morning.
Temperatures should remain warmer than normal Thursday through Saturday, perhaps influenced by extent of cloud cover at times, then turning colder Sunday into early next week.
