The City of Gulfport is the host of the official kickoff party for the largest block party on the Coast.
Gulfport Main Street is proud to announce the 11th annual View the Cruise event taking place on Sunday, October 4th.
This gives Cruisers, locals, and visitors the opportunity to view some classic cars, check out local bands, and see what Downtown Gulfport has to offer.
Due to the pandemic, you can expect some of the traditional festivities to be limited. However, you are still guaranteed a great time, all while practicing COVID-19 safety measures. Gulfport Main Street Executive Director Laurie Toups said, “We want you to care and wear your masks. So, wearing is caring in Downtown Gulfport. So, in order to be served a beverage inside or out, in order to be served food inside or out, or purchase from all of our fabulous vendors, you have to wear a mask. So, come down with your chair, your mask, your family and friends and enjoy your day.”
Road closures will start at 6 a.m. on Sunday. As always, entry into downtown is limited to classic vehicles and emergency vehicles.
Gulfport Police Department will have the ability to have unauthorized vehicles towed at the owner’s expense.
