A restaurant chain with many locations across the Coast is teaming up with two other organizations to help those impacted by hurricanes Sally and Laura.
Raising Cane’s, along with the American Red Cross and the Saint Bernard Project, will hold a fundraiser all day Tuesday. Fifteen percent of tomorrow’s sales at Raising Cane’s will go to the Red Cross and SBP as a way to help with their disaster recovery efforts in Louisiana, Texas, and Alabama.
All four Cane’s locations on the Mississippi Coast will participate, along with other Cane’s locations in Louisiana and southeast Texas. Raising Cane’s Area Leader of Marketing Amber Herring said, “Our founder and CEO Todd Graves felt that this is something really near and dear to his heart, so we are just doing all we can, we know what it’s like to have to pick up after a hurricane.”
The ultimate goal for tomorrow is to raise $100,000.
