A family of five is safe after their home caught on fire Thursday night.
Around 9 p.m., the D’Iberville Fire Department, along with Biloxi and Harrison County Fire, went to the two story house on Riverbluff Road and found flames coming from one end of the top story.
D’Iberville Fire Chief Gerald Smith tells News 25 it took firefighters about 15 to 20 minutes to put out the flames.
One resident received minor burns on his hands after trying to put the fire out himself, but no other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
