Coast casinos reopening as Sally moves into Florida

The Mississippi Gaming Commission says casinos may reopen for business at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Casinos closed as Hurricane Sally headed toward the Gulf Coast, but now that it has moved over to the Alabama-Florida border, casinos are planning to reopen.

Here’s what we know:

  • Beau Rivage is reopening at 10 a.m. Thursday.
  • Boomtown Casino is reopening at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Golden Nugget is reopening at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Island View Casino is reopening at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is reopening at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Harrah’s Gulf Coast is reopening the casino at 3 p.m. The hotel and other remaining outlets will open at 1 a.m. Thursday.
  • Hollywood Casino is reopening at  1 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Island View Casinos is reopening at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
  • IP Casino Resort & Spa is reopening at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Palace Casino Resort reports it had no damage from Hurricane Sally and is reopening its doors at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Palace Buffet will be closed until Thursday.
  • Scarlet Pearl is reopening at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Silver Slipper is reopening at 10 a.m. Thursday.
