New poll asks if Americans would get COVID-19 vaccine if available

A new poll suggests over half of Americans would not get a free COVID-19 vaccine if one comes out before Election Day.

Researchers from the Kaiser Family Foundation polled nearly 1,200 adults. Over 60 percent were concerned that the FDA would rush to approve a vaccine without making sure it is safe due to political pressure from the Trump Administration.

While most did not think a vaccine would be widely available before the Presidential Election, 54 percent said they would not want to get vaccinated if one were to be approved and made freely available before November 3rd.
