09/02 – Brantly’s “Hot and Sunny” Wednesday Afternoon Forecast

The dog days of summer continue… hot temperatures and high humidity will be the trend along the Mississippi Gulf Coast over the next several days. Highs today through the weekend will top out in the lower 90s along the coast and in the mid 90s for inland areas away from the water.

Rain chances remain slim to none through Friday, with a slight chance of afternoon pop-up showers over the weekend.

In the tropics, we have Tropical Storm Nana headed to Central America and Tropical Storm Omar heading out to sea in the North Atlantic. We also have two tropical waves off the coast of Africa, but none of these areas of interest are threats through at least the holiday weekend.
