GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV) — One person is dead following a shooting on Courtney Drive in Gautier.

Authorities say the shooting took place just after 5 p.m. Monday. The Gautier Police Department is currently investigating the incident.

The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Rico Lynch. His body has been sent to Jackson for autopsy.

Other details surrounding the incident were not immediately made clear.
