Tajiri Washington, the former George County football standout gone far too soon at the age of 18, is still finding a way to leave a legacy behind for the family, friends, teammates, and coaches that inspires a lifetime of memories.
News 25 Sports Director Jeff Haeger spoke with those who knew Tajiri and every one of them said the exact same thing “I never saw him have a bad day.”

For anyone wanting to pay their respects to Tajiri Washington and his family, the wake will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the George County High School gymnasium. That will be followed by the funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lucedale Church of God.
