This afternoon saw another round of thunderstorm activity, which ended up on the severe side as they moved through. Those stronger storms have moved on, but we still have muggy air and cloudy skies left. That’s how we’ll remain through the night, low near 75 degrees with isolated showers. Tomorrow will be similar to today, but with sightly less rain and no chance of severe weather.
Expect the rain to steadily dry up over the rest of the week now that the Saharan dust has arrived in the upper levels.
Rain chances will be down to 20% by the start of next week, but little will have changed in regards to anything else. Expect the humidity to remain near “miserable” levels as the dewpoint remains in the mid to upper 70s into next weekend.
