Not too much rain today, but a tropical system will bring several inches over the weekend. Upper level clouds associated with Christobal are already moving into the area, and will continue to thicken tomorrow. That means expect a humid night with increasing clouds, and a warmer low near 76 degrees. Skies remain overcast through tomorrow, with an afternoon high near 86 and a 40% chance of afternoon showers.
As we head into Saturday night/Sunday morning, we’ll see the first outer bands moving in.
Expect to see significant rain associated with from that point until Tuesday afternoon, so rainfall totals near 1 foot aren’t out of the question. We’ll also see the bulk of the storm surge based on the current forecast track, so coastal areas may see increased flooding. Once Christobal leaves we’ll be left with tropical moisture and high temperatures, so it won’t be comfortable until after our next front moves through Thursday morning.
