As summer approaches and temperatures continue to climb, the cool relief of a water park may be exactly what you need and now you can have it.
Tomorrow, Gulf Islands Waterpark in Gulfport is set to open its doors after having to suspend operations due to COVID-19.
Gulf Islands’ reopening comes with a few rule changes to assure the health and safety of attendees.
Some of the suggested guidelines include social distancing amongst unrelated guests throughout the park and the use of cloth face masks in all public areas except while in the water.
Food and beverages will be available to order online in order to allow guests the ability to avoid long lines.
In accordance with state regulations, the park will only operate at 50 percent capacity.
