When it comes to the NFL Draft, it’s all about value and teams don’t have to tell you how they value a player, they show you.
Just like the New Orleans Saints trading a total of four picks for just one.
They spent that one on Dayton Tight End Adam Trautman with the 105th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.
As fate would have it, the third round selection went to high school with News 25’s Grace Boyles who is excited to bring you the full exclusive story of his road to the NFL on Monday.
Here’s a little snippet of what you can expect from a guy that says New Orleans is a perfect fit. “Sitting there and all of a sudden my phone rings and it’s a New Orleans number, it says call is coming in from New Orleans, and I was kind of like what? So I answered it, I was like hello, they were like is this Adam? I was like yes. And who was calling me was Mickey Loomis the GM and he was like hey, it’s Mickey Loomis – the GM of the New Orleans Saints. We’re about to trade up here to 105 and take you and I was just like what! So I was super excited and I couldn’t have fallen into a better situation with the Saints and it’s such a great organization to be a part of.”
