MHSAA to vote on June 1st return on Thursday


According to Brandon Shields of, the Mississippi High School Activities Association will have an executive committee meeting on Thursday to discuss the potential June 1st restart.

If the date is upheld, schools across the Magnolia State will immediately be allowed to begin off-season workouts and summer sports while still following proper social distancing protocols.

However, the date could also be pushed back, extending the current cancellation of all competition.
