ST. MARTIN, Miss. (WXXV) — Three men were arrested Monday after a carjacking and shooting in Jackson County sent two people to the hospital.
Deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department arrested 20-year-old Jalin Stallworth, 21-year-old Jimon Dixon and 22-year-old Quincy Brown on Monday.
Brown and Dixon are both charged with armed carjacking, aggravated assault, and shooting at a moving vehicle with bonds set at $500,000.
Stallworth is charged with aggravated assault and shooting at a moving vehicle. His bond was revoked.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department tells WXXV the two victims were transported to a local hospital but their conditions are not known at this time. The agency is still investigating the incident and said they plan to release a statement later today.
Two of the three men remain in custody at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center. It was not made clear which person is no longer in custody or if any of the men charged have attorneys.
