While students on the Coast have been adjusting to their new education routines, their teachers have missed them dearly.
The faculty and staff at West Harrison High School created a cute video for their kids. A few educators made a ‘Friends’ inspired video tribute to all of their students.
Teachers wished them nothing but the best and hope they are taking proper caution at home.
One teacher even created a step-by-step guide on how to make a homemade face mask in the video.
Broadcast Journalism Teacher Tiffani Pollard tells News 25 the video lets students know the teachers will “be there for them” during these tough times. “I feel like for nine months of the year that I am their school parent. I love them and I want the very best for them and I just feel like since we had such an abrupt ending, we didn’t get to do all the things that we needed to do with them. I feel like this little bit of time we have left in the school year, we wanted to make sure we are connected with them.”
All of the teachers stressed the importance of social distancing and how they can’t wait to be reunited with their awesome students in the classroom.
