Temperatures continue to soar into the 80s this afternoon along the Gulf Coast. Highs today are expected to break record levels, getting up to around 86 degrees. The record is 85 degrees set in 2012.
Expect sunshine for the rest of the day and for the next couple of days, with only a few upper level clouds passing through.
Tonight, lows will drop to around 65 on the Coast.
Highs on Thursday may reach the upper 80s before cooling down to the lower to mid 80s again on Friday.
Rain chances remain low through the weekend.
