BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV) — One man is dead after a shooting in Biloxi early Monday morning.
Just after 1 a.m. Monday, Biloxi Police responded to a report of shots fired at 264 Stennis Avenue.
While officers were checking that area, a vehicle stopped at Pass Road and the Keesler Air Force Base gate.
One of the occupants of the vehicle said that a passenger in the car had been shot.
Police were able to determine during their initial response that the two incidents were related.
The 33-year-old male who had been shot was transported to a local medical facility where he later died as a result of his injuries.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
