It’s Fat Tuesday in South Mississippi and the skies are fat with clouds, but thankfully not fat with rain. Those clouds will be thinning (getting all the “fat” puns?) through the night though, and many sunny days lie ahead. A few clouds will remain by sunrise, and we’ll end up with a much cooler low near 50.
WEDNESDAY MORNING WILL BRING A LOW CHANCE OF AN ISOLATED SHOWER AND POP OF CLOUD COVER AS A WEAK FRONT SWINGS THROUGH, BUT THE AFTERNOON IS LOOKING GOOD.
Expect mostly sunny skies and a cooler high near 60. From this point forward there will be very little change. Expect cold, then chilly nights as temperatures slowly moderate by the beginning of next week, and sunny, mild days until Tuesday. That’s the first day any cloud cover returns, and even then it’s only a few clouds.
