‘Hola Havana’ is the theme of this year’s annual Ocean Springs Mardi Gras Night Parade.
Residents and visitors lined the streets of Downtown Ocean Springs. In its 12th year, the night parade featured 52 registered floats with a little more than 70 units.
Jennifer Cashin, Queen Springs VI, and Chad Cashin, King Ocean VI, say this is a great event that brings the whole community together. “It’s always a group effort. It’s not one thing that’s left undone by one person and a lot of effort going into it. There are so many possibilities,” said Jennifer.
Chad said, “Being able to have the City of Ocean Springs come together for a family event is tremendous itself, but being able to meticulously have every event work flawlessly is phenomenal.”
