The Harlem Globetrotters made a pit stop in Biloxi to teach some elementary school students a very important lesson.
The Globetrotters pride themselves on being the ambassadors of goodwill. Today, a Harlem Globetrotter visited Popp’s Ferry Elementary School to teach the students about bullying and how to better communicate with each other. Briana ‘Hoops’ Green said, “I am here with the program called ‘Teaming Up,’ and it stands for ‘talk, empathy, ask questions, mobilize.’ I am going to go talk to the kids about bullying and how it is not okay, how you should be a kind and generous person, and just to let them know they are not alone and the Globetrotters are on their side.”
The Globetrotters will be at the Coast Coliseum on March 11th for the ‘Pushing the Limits’ Tour.
