We’ve been feeling its effects for a few days, but now we can begin enjoying some cooler, drier post-frontal weather. That changeover has begun, as clouds have already started clearing and will continue doing so through the night. That’ll leave us with mostly clear skies by sunrise, with a low in the mid 30s.
A decent wind from the W/NW will lower wind chills into upper 20s, and will keep Friday’s afternoon high in the mid 50s despite ample sunshine.
Temperatures moderate quickly though, so expect to be back into the mid 60s by Saturday. We’ll continue steadily warming into the middle of the week, and cloud cover will slowly increase as well as our next frontal system moves in. Expect it by Monday morning, but the cloud cover and rain will linger for most of next week.
